Fastest Man Alive
Phax ”Slow Mo Phax” Ahamada
Enjoy Fastest Man Alive, a poetic and easily accessible performance in the public space by Phax. Inspired by the concept of cogwheels, he examines the way movement and presence are communicated between people, generations and spaces. Watch a living art installation in perpetual movement that spotlights humor, illusion and human contact.
With the stage presence of a true multi-artist, Phax moves effortlessly between street dance, mime and physical theatre. His art brings together technical exactitude and a strong feeling of community in close contact with the public. He is a legend in the world of street dance, particularly known for his unusual slow-motion technique in which the moves are stretched out, broken down and transformed into a very personal and poetic narrative force. Influences from hip hop, the performing arts, and physical theatre are combined in a performance style that is visually fascinating and deeply human.
Phax Ahamada is the recipient of Sten A Olsson’s kulturstipendium for 2025.
