The Curators
This year´s festival has been put together by a creative team consisting of three curators with a solid experience from the field of Performing Arts, and a thorough knowledge of Gothenburg.
Sarah Melin.
Sarah Melin
Sarah Melin has been a producer at Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival since 2012 and has extensive background in Performing Arts, both nationally and internationally. Sarah is qualified projekt manager and she has been working as a Performing Arts producer, a dance consultant and with programming. Her focus as curator for next festival is contemporary Performing Arts in dance, performance and theatre.
Pernilla Appelqvist
Pernilla Appelqvist
Pernilla Appelqvist is producer at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg and focuses on circus, dance and theatre. She has been working with Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival since 1996, both as a producer but also with programming. Her focus for this year´s festival is circus.
Johannes Öhman.
Johannes Öhman
Johannes Öhman is future artistic director at Staatsballett in Berlin 2018 and was previously artistic director at Kungliga Baletten and ballet director at GöteborgsOperan. He has a background as a dancer at Kungliga Baletten and has been director for a number of innovative companies.
